No Urge to Write

I think I must be depressed, have no Urge to write, sleeping a lot...sad stuff going on. I've been so happy to have all my kids near but just found out that the youngest is planning to move about 500 miles away. All my old insecurities have reappeared. Yuck I don't like that. It will pass, it always does, just got to get through it. Sure gonna miss

We have two daughters, and the oldest one is moving about 500 miles away, too, next summer. We are all very close and they have both always lived within a few miles of us our whole lives. I try not to think about it or dwell on it because I know how sad I will be, but I know it's coming...like a dark cloud looming in the background. I told her she had better get a place with a guest room and she said I'd better keep my spare bedroom clean. Keeping busy is my salvation. I feel your heart and hope your depression soon passes.

I can't thank you enough for your reply. I've been awfully hard on myself for not handling this situation better and just knowing that I'm not alone, that it's natural perhaps to feel the way I do is comforting.
