oh rosie i hope you are ok, to be honest im not surprised you are stressed what with exams, your work, the wedding and moving house, its alot to take on emotionally and physically. ive never really experienced anything like that, but all i can suggest is that you take it easy as much as you can, lots of breathing when you feel stressed, walks in the fresh air, good food and im sure dom will be there to supply plenty of hugs. i hope i dont come over as patronising! in the mean time, if you need a night out to de-stress grania and i are still up for a food night whenever you want.

but most of all, take care

i quite agree with everything above!

my advice would be to use that bach rescue remedy stuff as it does actually work and perhaps take up yoga if you don't do it already - as much as anything else it's about learning to control your breathing and relaxation. i'm sure it goes without saying, but if there's anything any of us can do to make things less stressful for you then please don't hesitate to ask.

thinking of you xxx

Thanks both of you, that's really sweet! I'm definitely trying the exercise thing - I've been missing yoga a lot recently due to lack of time, but have decided to MAKE time for it now because it definitely helps me feel more relaxed. Fresh air also sounds like a good plan now that the weather's a bit better, and the doctors did tell me to move around rather than lying down if I feel a nasty episode coming on.

Would be lovely to see all of you for a girly night once I get the immediate stuff out of the way. I'm moving my stuff into the new place this weekend and then have my exam, but after that should have lots more time to do fun stuff - I think I need it!

Oh pickle thats horrible. Really hope you don't have to go through that again. Have you tried taking some Rescue Remedy? I used to have little panic attacks quite often and still often get that weird thing where my heart beats really dementedly strong and fast and i go all dizzy, and I have noticed I do get it less since I've started putting RR into my water bottle whe I'm drinking it. 4 or 5 drops into a bottle of water. Its meant to help calm you down and keep you relaxed, My mum uses it on the ponies too and it works a treat!!! Maybe try that just to keep you levelled out a bit?? Its not tooooo expensive, about £4.50 for a rather small bottle but it lasts a while as you only need a few drops.

Thats my advice. That and other hippy stuff like burning Lavendar Oil while you study/in your bedroom, it makes the room smell nice and it solves everything!!!

Thanks my love, that's a great idea. I remember I used to use that stuff for music exams but haven't tried it in ages. Can you get it from an ordinary chemist? As you know, I'm a massive hippy, so already have any number of scented candles and lavender-based oils, which definitely seem to help before bedtime. The weird thing is that I was totally calm before I had the massive panic attack, and was just sitting down reading a magazine! That makes it an even better idea to try the Rescue Remedy in my water, then I can be drinking it all day.

Whenever I have had a panic attack it has been completly out of the blue and when I am feeling completly relaxed and not at all stressed. I think its my bodies way of telling me I am over-doing it and even though I feel fine otherwise, it is just fed up. Or something. Rescue Remedy should be avaliable from your chemist, if not they have it in holland and barrett. barrat? you know the one!!! Its against the back wall in the one in tooting!!!

Failing that I have a friend who loves giving me massages, and I'm sure she could give you a lovely aromatherepy one aswell if you want to come over to tooting and get one sometime. They are amazing and she is a total sweetheart!!! - is phil jarvo's missus.

Awesome, thanks! The massage sounds amazing as well, that would be ace if she doesn't mind touching my bony carcass. Am back in the office a bit more now so I'm in the area at least a couple of times a week.

Oh, and T says you should borrow the DVDs he sent to Phil - Mary Whitehouse Experience (both series) and Newman & Baddiel In Pieces, plus lots of Lee & Herring.

Thanks so much, that's all very good advice! People have offered to help with the move, which is great, and I think most of the major wedding stuff is done. I'm also going to go to the walk-in centre this afternoon because I still feel absolutely terrible and it's been suggested that I might have haemoglobin issues. Might as well get that ruled out, anyway. Fingers crossed I can get this under control before the exam, because I'm not getting any work done at the moment!
