What a frightening experience.

I've never been a panic attack situation like that so don't have much practical advice, apart from a few lessons I'm still trying to learn. Exercise your right to say NO when you've got too much to do, and figure out a way you can say to a few useful people, "I have more responsibilities than I can cope with and need you to do some of it for me."

Obviously you need to do the exam yourself. That should be a top priority. Moving house, as impossible as it may seem, can be done by other people. Dom can take care of paperwork (apart from saying "sign here"). Maybe you could get a good friend to come over a couple nights a week (a different friend each time), put on some fun music and help you pack boxes. Or even pack your less personal stuff while you study.

Forthcoming weddings are a huge stress, even if they're months away and not your main concern at the time. A month before hours I was curled up on the couch crying because I wanted it to all go away. Maybe you could get Dom to organise a surprise post-exam day where you two can do something really fun and not talk about the wedding or living together or anything else stress-related.

I hope the panic attack was a once-off experience and everything will get better from here.

Oh, and T says you should borrow the DVDs he sent to Phil - Mary Whitehouse Experience (both series) and Newman & Baddiel In Pieces, plus lots of Lee & Herring.

Thanks so much, that's all very good advice! People have offered to help with the move, which is great, and I think most of the major wedding stuff is done. I'm also going to go to the walk-in centre this afternoon because I still feel absolutely terrible and it's been suggested that I might have haemoglobin issues. Might as well get that ruled out, anyway. Fingers crossed I can get this under control before the exam, because I'm not getting any work done at the moment!
