It's been three weeks since I posted a substantial update. A lot has happened.

Alice's mother visited, and Alice, Tom and I ate in tasty places with her, including Nishino, and Alice and I went with her to see The Tempest, which was a pretty good production

Eep, sorry I didn't respond to your last post. We should totally hang out. We're going to be all over the place, though. But it looks like Amsterdam is close to you...you are in Aachen, no?

Yes, Aachen is right on the border with the Netherlands and is about 3 hours away from Amsterdam by train. I have plans to be in Paris, Vienna, and possibly Venice sometime in the next two months. Whether we meet up in Amsterdam or line up our plans for some other city, I think it should be totally doable.
