It's been three weeks since I posted a substantial update. A lot has happened.
Alice's mother visited, and Alice, Tom and I ate in tasty places with her, including Nishino, and Alice and I went with her to see The Tempest, which was a pretty good production.
Alice, Tom and I have been watching a lot of Star Trek movies. Star Trek IV: Save the Whales is amazing. We went back to see the new movie, and it was better with more Star Trek in our minds.
I've been doing a lot of research, and preparing to leave for the summer. POPL deadline is in three weeks, and it looks like we are in pretty good shape to submit, if expecting to have to do a lot of work.
Alice, Tom, Jonathan and I went back to Nishino where I had an 11 course japanese meal and sake. It was kind of amazing.
Alice and Tom are gone to the East Coast now. I will catch up with them in Amsterdam on the 24th of July.
My sister lives here now, though she ships out to the Arctic in about a week. My mother is here, too, until tomorrow morning, when she flies back home. They drove out together from New Jersey.
