AWESOME VICTORY!

I was working on 590P presentation, watching the election results. I got to the Lighthouse party just in time to see Obama's victory speech, which was completely amazing. Then we poured out in the streets to frolic and sing.

Assuming we're restricting ourselves to U.S. elections here: no, but I'm sure that wouldn't be the case if I'd ever lived out in the farmlands of the Midwest or some similar locale.

Sure. I think that something kind of interesting is going on in that, although the popular vote was pretty close to 50-50, I'm hearing reports of crazy celebrations in most major cities. This is probably because cities-dwellers tend to be more left leaning than country-dwellers, but it is kind of biasing my impressions of the amount of nationwide support Obama has.
