AWESOME VICTORY!
I was working on 590P presentation, watching the election results. I got to the Lighthouse party just in time to see Obama's victory speech, which was completely amazing. Then we poured out in the streets to frolic and sing.
Seriously, people, can you remember the last time you saw people celebrating after an election? I assumed it was just crazy, left wing Seattle, but apparently it was happening in Pittsburgh too (edit: in Chicago, too of course, but apparently in DC, too).
I then returned to the U-District, where Karl, Tammy, Cynthia and I got bubble tea and watched more election coverage.
I have now returned to my office to work and I have watched McCain's incredibly gracious concession speech.
