So, with my recent head-over-heels crushing within the last year over first Davy Jones, then Mike Nesmith, then Jeremy Brett, and now Patrick Troughton, I know I've been focusing on them a whole lot more than my other celebrity crushes ( Read more... )

Alas, the "Jamie's memories were restored and he and Two continued traveling" theory is, in fact, just a theory. There's unlikely to be any canon confirmation of it. Still, it's the only explanation for why Two and Jamie are visibly older in "The Two Doctors", so...who knows. It's a nice theory, anyway. Eases the pain and ties up a plot hole.

Really? I thought that the BBC finally acknowledged that it was canon and released official media (books and audio dramas) about it...

Hm! The Doctor Who wiki says there are indeed official books and so forth about it. It still hasn't been mentioned in the show, so some people don't consider it canon, but you know what, I'll take it.

It's nice that you are getting more into Doctor Who. I've seen very little of Two only the special on BBC America (although I did like Jamie and the 2nd Doctor & would love to see more).

Although I am weird and don't have a favorite Doctor. I tend to like the first 5 and then 9-11.

Sarah Jane is my favorite character though.

X3 They are wonderful.

Aww, I love what I've seen of Sarah Jane, too. X3

How could the Doctor have a granddaughter if he's the last Time Lord? Why was he being punished?

Because, at the time, he wasn't the last Time Lord. The Ninth Doctor was the first one who declared himself to be the last Time Lord after they and the Daleks were wiped out during the Last Great Time War (and, even then, he was wrong--the Master survived the Last Great Time War, too... but then he died, as well ( ... )

It's always good to remember and love crushes old and new! Rockapella nostalgia is a wonderful thing. And I'm glad those pictures helped remind of the Darren crush. Oddly enough, the episode did the same thing for me the first time I saw it.

LOL. Interesting compare and contrast with Simon's character and the Doctor.

I love the idea that the Doctor started out cold and merciless, and then changed so much.

It definitely seems reasonable that his mother would have had a hand in those things!

So many plunnies! It's always a wonderful thing to have so many; there's always something to work with.

Yesss, indeed!

LOL, I was highly amused by the parallels.

*nodnod* Character development is always a good thing!

Indeed!

Oh, yes. The problem is not having enough time to devote to all the projects, though!
