{fangirl mode} Rockapella's new holiday CD (aptly titled A Rockapella Holiday, which is what their holiday concert shows have been called for a while now) is almost released! The iTunes version is going to be available to download soon, and the physical CD (which is what I'll be getting, since I generally prefer physical CDs whenever possible, ( Read more... )

I feel the same way about the Pirates movies. I loved the first one but I just try to forget about the second two. Then again I suppose it's rare when a sequel actually is good.

My favorite live action disney movies are definitely the Parent Trap & Escape to Witch Mountain. I've always loved them ever since I was a kid. But Mary Poppins is definitely an excellent one too, you can't go wrong with Julie Andrews (although I might slightly prefer The Sound of Music). :)

Yeah, sequels are rarely better than the originals--though I can think of The Night Strangler as one of those rare exception.

Never seen them... originals or remakes. **shrugs**

Sound of Music is awesome but I'm pretty sure that's not Disney, though...

You haven't seen "Parent Trap?" That's it, I'm taking away your Disney Fan Club membership card. ;)

I also prefer physical CDs to iTunes. I love being able to hold something in my hands, which is why I still love books, CDs, DVDs, what have you. I know how you feel about being in fangirl mode. Paul has definitely done some squee-worthy things this year, and just thinking about it has made me go on a high from seeing him in concert this summer. :D

I also have to agree with you about the Pirates movies. I like to pretend that the two sequels don't even exist, for reasons I believe we've discussed already. I haven't seen the newest one yet, and frankly, I don't even know if I want to.

Yes, I definitely perfer something tangible in my hands. **nodnod**

Yeah, the Pirates sequels were disappointing. Sigh.
