I know this report is a tad bit later than normal but I wanted to wait to get photos from people first. Though not like many people read these since LJ is dying but I can't break tradition. XD
Congratulations on reaching the 50 con mark! I can't imagine going to that many cons. I've barely even been to one. :P
Also, I've been wondering this for a long time, and maybe you can explain it to me: what is this weird fascination that everybody has with My Little Pony all of a sudden? Granted, I've never watched it, but I've been confused as to why everyone and their mother is suddenly obsessed with a My Little Pony show. Any idea why this has such a rabid fandom?
It never ceases to amaze me all the different costumes you take to the cons. It must be really exhausting.
I hadn't seen the Prince Blueblood costume before! I actually like it a lot, it becomes you!
Also, I don't understand why anyone would want to cosplay Wakaba. I hated her guts. Even more than Nanami's. I like the shot from above, you look really sure of yourself there, very Utena-like.
And, well, I don't have anything else to say about the rest of the costumes because I think I already mentioned at the time how awesome they are.
And, OMG, Ludwig II !!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm really sorry they didn't make it into the top 10! So unfair!!!!!!!
LOL! XD Yeah, well sometimes it IS exhausting. But I'm also used to it? I also have friends that do a lot more costume changes than I, believe it or not. o_o I have limits. Typically I try to do only 2 costumes a day, maybe 3 on a big day like Saturday so the amount of changing I was doing here is a bit unusual for me

Best of luck with finding your ring, maybe this is a good chance to save up for a metal ring. What's the price on those these days? I can't imagine someone being nitpicky about the ring when your outfit looks as groovy as it does. Vaguely makes me want to watch parts of Utena again. As for another note on jewelry, best of luck in figuring the necklace situation. Did you use some sort of beading wire? I hear that stuff is pretty strong, I like looking at a beading magazine although I don't do any of it myself. I just love looking at the variety. xD

Typically the metal rings go from like $150 to $200 depending on who you get it from and what material they're making it from (if its actual silver or not, etc). So it is quite a bit of money for something I wouldn't wear that often. As i don't really like having things on my fingers and wrists. They get in the way. XD And yeah, I realize I should just get some of the beading wire probably. I was being cheap and just used some cording I had in my stash. Not even sure what it was. lol But it was meant for beading. Just probably not as much as I was doing. And I need to learn about how to properly tie the ends off I think. I know I have friends who do a lot more beading than me so I'll ask them whenever I am wanting to remake the necklace
