I know this report is a tad bit later than normal but I wanted to wait to get photos from people first. Though not like many people read these since LJ is dying but I can't break tradition. XD

Well I have been going to them for over 10 years now so when you keep that in mind, its not as crazy. XD But yeah...I have no life. lol

Well I sorta understand it and yet am just as confused as you are in a sense on the MLP front. See, I've ALWAYS loved My Little Pony. I was given my first pony at like age 4 and it was kinda an obsession and a big part of my childhood and I never stopped collecting them. I still do. XD But like I was really surprised when all of a sudden the WHOLE WORLD got into it. O_o Granted the new MLP is very different from the old one. At first I was a bit reluctant towards it just 'cause it does upset me how so many people are into it now that never cared about the original MLP (and how some friends who used to roll their eyes at me for my collection are now obsessed with it and getting their own ponies x_x;) but then I watched it and well it really is a very good show. Even though its aimed at children still, its something that adults can enjoy too. And its far better than a lot of children's programming out there these days. Its cute, funny, and really clever. The characters are really likeable and the songs are catchy. Its like a good Disney animated film but in TV series format. Something that everyone of all ages can enjoy.

That being said. I don't really understand the wide obsession with it a lot of adults have. I mean my own love for it comes from my love for the old show. So I don't quite get why people who didn't grow up with it would be so obsessed with it all of a sudden, to be honest. So I can't quite explain that. You'd have to ask someone else really. And from what I have heard from my friends who do fit this bill is that they just like it, plain and simple.
