Mother's Day picspam

It's Mother's Day and I'm... doing a picspam of Florence, Italy to celebrate? My brain is weird. Though in my defense, there's a maternal connection in these photos. All of these pictures were taken during a brief stay in Florence in June 2004. I took most of them, my mother took a few and a friend took some as well.

Wow, I want to live on that bridge. Lovely pictures! I went to Florence once, but I was 11 and didn't really appreciate it.

Eleven is pretty young for historic things, yup. I saw the Grand Canyon when I was... 13, maybe? And I remember thinking, "It's just a big hole in the ground." Argh. Wish I could go back now...

((hugs)) back.

The buildings added onto the bridge really do boggle the mind, don't they?!

I like travel even for young people, but yeah... I think there are some things you just don't appreciate until you're older.

I really wanted to go to Europe this summer. Considering the injury and that I'm still recovering, it's definitely better that my early travel plans didn't work out. But I'm glad you enjoyed the photos!
