Wow. That was intense and scary, but in a good way.

Thanks! (Hmm...didn't I just tell you one of your stories made me cry, but in a good way?) :)

Wow. Dark. And....beautiful. Seriously, it was brilliant.

I can't see it as canon, but I can see how in character they were, even for an out of character AU. You've got them pegged, and it was scary and lovely at the same time.

That's exactly what I was trying for, and you put it so beautifully! It was a difficult line to walk. I couldn't have done it without Karaokegal. *blows a kiss her way*

And canon? Do Not Want. Ever.

Thanks for your lovely comments :)

I go back and forth on this. Because as sweet and carefully caring as Jack is, he has steel running through him and a manic streak a mile wide. If, as you said, those memories returned to him, the shock and pain of knowing that he had been a monster [for whatever reason] might well push him over the edge.

And Jack, over the edge? The way I see it, he'd be capable of anything.

Plus, he would want everyone to hate him as much as he hated himself. That, mixed with the fact that part of him would blame Ten for 'reminding' him...

Well, with the way you've laid it out, I find this painfully plausible. Brava.

I go back and forth on this.

So did I!

...steel running through him and a manic streak a mile wide.

I love that imagery, and it's dead on.

I find this painfully plausible.

Thank you :)

That was really brilliant there. Once again, you've nailed their voices and personality down to a tee. I love reading your fanfics! Keep up the great work!
