Just finally saw the "Half-Blood Prince" movie, and was pleasantly surprised to emerge without any major trauma. It looked pretty! All those virtually black-and-white scenes were haunting. Ah, so you didn't-hate HBP, too? ("Liked" might be too strong a word.) I think I've gotten to the point where the movies seem like fanart to me, and fanart created by someone I wouldn't necessarily have on my flist (i.e., mainstream, not very thoughtful, and obsessed with those minor characters Harry, Hermione, and Ron).

That was a great story by Woldy, wasn't it? I should go back and reread.

Also, hello! *waves* M.

Hee! You are so totally and perfectly right about that. Yes, the kind of fanartist whom I wouldn't really trust to make their own interpretations of the characters--which is another reason why I'm relieved they left Remus and Tonks alone.

Now, woldy, on the other hand... what an original story. Hope this will inspire you to reread.

And hello! Lovely to see you! *waves back*

Sorry I've been so out of touch--I've been thinking about you (and your other half), but unable to summon the mental energy to write... even e-mails. I hope you're doing OK with the end of summer.
