Hi :)
I just read your reply to my sorting elite application, and while at first I was quite stricken by your answer, I saw your honesty and I like that.
I just feel I have to explain something to you, so please don't take anything personally I just have to say it:

I feel that neither [Percy and Narcissa] give anything to the books.

Hello? Did you even read the series? Percy is character that certainly has his meaning. I think he is a good example of a different kind of Gryffindor bravery from that of Harry and his friends. Percy is brave enough to make choices he deems to be right for him. Percy, to me, is a more human Gryffindor than what we see of Harry.Yes I've read the series, unfortunately I haven't read it 100 times like many have, and college work is stocking up so I haven't been able to re-read much of late. I understand that my statement could come as slightly confusing, and I think I must have phrased it wrong because I really didn't mean anyone to view it that way at all. Of course he has a meaning, but I just don't ( ... )

Hey. I like it when people are brave enough to comment after a comment. I experienced it myself when I went through my process of sortage. It's a bitch to not be able to comment on other people's comments ( ... )

:) thanks, it's not my first but it's the best one. I'm an emotional mess lately and things ignite me more to act on them, so replying to you seemed the obvious thing to do :)

I realise looking back on it now that I should have said it better, but I looked back on it 50 times before i posted it! It's silly.

Thanks for the comment :)

I hope you won't mind me commenting in your journal. =P You can delete it if you like.

First off, I want to thank you for your vote as well as your whimsical explanation of your sorting of me in h_elite. I really must admit I'm a sap and a total goodytwo shoes. You had that head on.

Would you mind if I friended you? I remember your username from somewhere and I very much admire and respect you.

Dutch? That it totally awesome. Language-wise, do you think it's easy to learn?

Don't I know you from Lumos or something like that? Anyhow, I've seen your username around as well.

And the fun of S_E is bitching at stupid applications. I don't like Gryffindors in general, but you seem to be an exception ;)

Dutch is rather difficult to learn, but not as troubling as Russian (which I intend to learn, eventually). But if you're German, Dutch is rather easy - but I don't think you are. Right? :p

So, I was browsing the people who list the UU as their University and I came along you. And we have like 'a billion' of the same interests. Harry Potter/slash/Blackadder/Johnny Depp/Kevin Bacon etc. etc.

Like to add me? I'm a 2nd year Psychology-student btw.

Whee, how great!

Well. The slashness is rather obvious is my journal. ^^ And I'll add you with delight. UU-students with the bestest interests of the world unite!

It even gets you a special Blackadder icon!

I am a bit high, still, because someone gave me a paid account a couple of days ago and I'm in love with it.

Yo, came over from sorting_elite. Just wanted to say thanks; I've been getting a lot of negative response to my opinion on Dumbledore and I was thrilled to get a positive one.

I can't wait to see more of you around!

Well, thank you.

Dumbledore can be such an ass and everyone disagreeing with that is either a mindless goody-two-shoe or just plain stupid.
Surely not everyone 'hates' him, but all proper readers should agree on the fact that he can be very annoying and in some way selfish and power-centric. He's just strange. But most of the plebs likes him because he's 'good'. As if that gives him The Excuse to badger everyone around.

Ah, well. Opinions, opinions.

I hope you get in, though. Good luck.
