I fall out of the habit of writing in my LJ. I guess I am still not feeling like I am properly in gear in my life. For trying at RPGs, I'm inclined towards the simple Wushu rules. Essentially: what the player describes, goes [unless vetoed]. More complex/impressive descriptions = more dice awarded = better success. Minimal stats, simple HP system. Little to no learning required.
