D-Day approaches

Yet again, here I am wondering about the future. My 8 week extended contract is nearly up and I should hear on Friday whether I'm to stay for another 8 weeks, or go ( Read more... )

Well to be honest I don't think you need to worry because if you don't get it extended you'll be able to get somehting else quite easily. Especially since you've now got nearly a year's expeience in varied office tasks and responsibilities.

But is this the way it's going to be continually, 8 week contracts? Because although you're happy with who you're working with, wouldn't it be better to be a permanent contract somewhere so that you're not worried about being jobless every 8 weeks?

it'll be 8 weeks until I'm here a year, then I'm permenant.

Good luck, but I definatly don't think you'll need it. Incidently is the thing still on at your house and if so for what time and all that jazz?
