There is a rat, or are multiple rats, in my room.
I am positive.
I will never sleep again. 
And it's 85 degrees in the house.

I'm not going to take the SATs after all. I don't stand a chance. I'm headed for community college anyway, due to financial and other considerations. I've just been in denial.

I've effectively channeled all my cravings for other things into an all-powerful caffeine addiction.

craving coffee, being rammed intermittently by mosquito hawks with vertigo. it's an improvement on last week's wasp invasion. at first I trapped each (wasp) and released it outside. after a while I became overwhelmed and let them be. they mainly stuck to the windows, trying to find, like me, the breach in the brick they entered through.

I can't sleep. I don't want to. Maybe a little.
