Yay for weight watchers! Definitely the most positive and responsible way, and pretty much seriously the only program I'd ever support.

6 months for 10kilograms is very sensible! That's like 2 kilos a month, right? Nice and slow stays for longer :).

On the yoga front (like we briefly talked about at Fi's), would you still be up for it? It's less of a weight loss thing, more of a zen and felxibility thing, but for overall health it'll be awesome for us I reckon. Also, we'd get to get together once or twice a week for a yoga session (depending on how costly it is).

lol i'm totally stalking LJ. everyone's posting and it's fun haha.

Good luck on Tuesday!

It's a good program, for sure. And easier than I thought to stay on track, too.

It'll be five months, really, May to the start of October, so yeah, about 2 kilos a month. Which is 500 grams a week, very do-able.

Regarding yoga, totally up for it if you want to! :D As long as it's not on Tuesday evening or on Saturday, I'm currently available any other time.

Haha, me too. I hope everyone keeps on posting. Makes LJ more funno. Lol what, funno XD

Thanks! :)

Well there's Hatha Yoga at Verissima house in Mundaring. (we could do Kundilini but the brochure says it's more vigorous and we're going to suck haha)
The times are:

Monday: 9:30AM to 11AM
Wednesday: 6:30PM to 8PM

I'm more inclined to the Monday morning one though because Night time I'm usually doing regular jogging.
if neither of those are cool, I can do some more searches for Yoga classes :).
I don't know costs yet, but I'll have to call tomorrow morning to check it all out.

I’m all for Hatha if it’s the easier of the two, haha :) We could always progress on to Kundilini if and when we get better, too.

Monday morning would be fine. It’d give me something to get out of bed for (wow, that sounds saaaad). But yeah. Lemme know when you find out costs. That’ll be the decider for me, given that I really need to save for Disney.

It is expensive to start with but I think it is fun. It tallies how much you've done in a day and how many calories you have burned while tracking your BMI and stuff.

I find it fun, some of it is haaaard, but there is lot to do. At some point, things won't be new anymore I guess but that happens with any form of working out. It keeps encouraging you and stuff. <3

We'll be here on the sidelines with our pompoms to cheer you on (what a scary thought!) :D :D :D

Whee! :D

LOL, it's not that scary a thought, is it? Unless you're all following me around everywhere dressed as American highschool cheerleaders or something. Although if that was the plan, I wouldn't complain ;)

It's a VERY scary thought. I mean, it's us dressed as cheerleaders and with pompoms and... *is scared by the thought*

See, I just scared myself.

But we will follow you everywhere with our giant pompoms. Oh, did I mention that we'd have GIANT pompoms? How scared are you now? ;)

And yeah! You should totally get back into it! I'm focussing on the health side right now, fitness can come later, lol. But go for it!
