What is up with me? Gawd.

So, have any of you folks seen Mushishi? If you haven't, go check it out, it's awesome. Kind of like Ghostbusters if it had been designed and directed by Hayao Miyazaki. Very beautiful, very original, very soothing ( Read more... )

I like the first one, where Ginko is sprawled out. X3 I just love poses like that; and the second where his doctor friend is sitting up like that.^^ Very nice job. XDDD

I also got the pics you sent me! I love them and nearly died from the cute when I was looking at them during class. I'd hop onto AIM right now to squee at you, but it won't let me on for some reason. *kicks it*

I loved Mushishi, but I was a little dismayed by its incredibly slow pacing sometimes... I know at least 5 separate episodes where it took me several hours to get through an episode because I'd keep doing things because nothing happened. But the scenery/animation was pretty spectacular and the action was always well-done.

I actually hear the Manga is head and shoulders above the anime because it doesn't have the pacting issues, for the most part. I've been meaning to check it out.

Yeah, it's a very restful series. Very soothing. But I don't mind that so much; most anime is so frenetic and bright and loud, it's nice to have something so different.

I haven't read any of the manga -- haven't been able to find scanlations -- but I'd like to read it, some time.
