I drew these a while ago, thinking it was very unfair that so far, we've only been able to see the personifications of two of the zanpakuto (spirit swords, if you don't follow the series) in Bleach: Zangetsu and Zabimaru. Maybe it's just because of the Scandinavian Mythology class I took last quarter, but I've been sketching a lot of mythology-themed things lately. So, here they all are.

First, an angel. I think I mostly drew her to work on her face, hair and pose; the wings were a bit of an afterthought. ^^;

Some of you may remember this project as the comic I'm working on with zinjadu for next years Rising Stars of Manga contest. While I'm slowly chugging away, drawing the actual pages, I've also been doing some side art. What can I say? These characters are fun to draw.
