So, coramegan and I decided Ishida would have waaay too much fun making Halloween costumes for his team mates friends people he does stuff with. It ended with Ichigo being surly and Chad wondering if he should politely let Ishida know that matadors come from Spain, not Mexico.

( Orihime, however, was thrilled. )

A matador is a kind of bullfighter, I think he's the guy who gts to wave the cape at the bull, but not the one who gets to kill it (I think that's a picador.) I dunno much about the sport, really. ^^; But the traditional bullfighting costumes are very fancy and colorful, tight pants and brocaded jacket and boots and these little black hats. Chad would almost certainly be damn sexy in one of them, he's tall and lean enough to pull it off. XD

Picadores are the folks that stick the bulls with small lances to enrage it before the matadores come in to taunt it and ultimately kill the bull. Sometimes matadores set their own lances, but only the really well-known ones typically do that.

Heh, her expression (on the larger one) is really cute ^^
although, I was hoping we'd get to see ichigo and chad's costumes...those sound interesting ^^

the only things I see that could be cleaned up a bit is the line of her back (it's a little hard to tell where it is, with the swoopy bits) and the size of her head. It's a little large in both pics, but especially in the smaller on (she's only three heads tall there ^^;;)

Hee. Ichigo just got a replica of his spirit-form shinigami costume (Ishida figured Ichigo couldn't really get mad at him for that.) But yeah, drawing matador!Chad would be nifty. I need to practice drawing him, anyway.

Yeah, there are some problems with the smaller figure; I mostly just put it there so I could figure out what the front of the dress looks like, and the head is there just for the sake of having a head. ^^;
