Things I Managed This Week

• killed two hermit crabs (well, they died of unknown natural causes, but I still feel responsible).
• Finally (with a capital F) finished my entry for the hp_creatures Halloween fest and sent it off to beta. Of course, I can't say anything about it, but I will say that it's not short (that's not giving much away, when are my entries ever

I'm still waiting for The Casual Vacancy to come in the mail (I pre-ordered it back in June) so it might be next week before I get it. I've seen online reviews for it saying it's "boring" and that it would be better with "wands". Like, seriously? If people want wands go read Harry Potter again - or fanfiction! I want my book ;;
