Aww, I think that's where Jaters make their big mistake. IMO, Jaters are a group that gets their hopes up too much. They forget that this is a triangle, and isn't necessarily just about Jack/Kate. Now I personally feel like it's always been about Jack/Kate, but Sawyer is more than your typical guy-who-gets-in-the-way, because there are real feelings between him and Kate. I have no doubt that we'll continue to get Skate scenes, but we'll get the Jate scenes, too. And they'll be worth it. :)

I love that song! It's so sad, though. I was watching a Heath Ledger farewell video to that song, which is why it was on.

ZOMG!!!!!111!1!!!

This episode was really cool and once again, when it ended I was like: NOOOOOOOOOOO! I wasn't so desperately attachted to season 3 as I am with season 4 and that's for multiple reasons.

I agree with most things you said, but I'd like to discuss Jate with you. I mean, it kinda broke my heart to see what happened between Jack/Sawyer/Kate. I mean, we all know why Jack's acted the way he did around Kate and now Kate actually knows it too. I was really freaked out with happiness with the Jate scenes they were giving us so I knew something really bad was gonna happen between them very soon. Because that's what the writers do. Always ( ... )

Yeah, I hear you. Parts of season three definitely rubbed me the wrong way, and Skate actually has nothing to do with it (I'm probably the only one who liked the way Skate was being handled.)

I agree with a lot of your points about Jate, but not all. I think it's equally heartbreaking to see the Jate and Skate at this point, because you feel so sorry for all three characters involved. You feel sorry for Jack, because you know he loves Kate and would do anything for her, including accepting her with another man. You feel Sawyer, because, well, ditto. And because you know that Sawyer has her right now, but won't in the future and Kate's the first person he's ever loved, so that sucks. And you also feel sorry for Kate (well, a lot of people don't, but I do) because she really is torn in the middle. She's really not ready to be with either of them at this point, and that's because of her own issues ( ... )

I hated the Skex, I don't really actually hate Skate, I'm just fed up. (although sometimes it's touching to see how Sawyer starts to really care about Kate. In a way - sadly enough for him - she's never going to care for him)

Even though Jack has flat out told her he loves her, she still doesn't think she's good enough for him. Yeah, I agree with you. Think she can't wrap her head around the fact that Jack wants her and that he does think she's good enough for him. Think she's really torn, yeah ( ... )

Aw, hon, I know it can be frustrating, but it'll be worth it in the end. That's what I believe, anyway. I know that we will get Jate and it will be every bit as awesome as it has been so far. Even if it doesn't happen this season, we have two more to go! They'll get it together.

Well, I'm glad Miles has some fans. :)

I saw Kate get up too, like "oh Jack and I are going to the beach"

Aww, I LOLed at your description. :)

Although, it was rather selfish of him saying there is nothing back home for him - he does have Clemintine (which is debatable because he doesn't know her). I think he is testing Kate to see if what Ben said was really true.Ah, well that's true. He does have Clementine, but I don't really think he had any intention of being a big part of her life. I think if he continues going through the kind of growth he's experiencing the past two seasons, maybe he'll get to that point of wanting to know his daughter ( ... )

"I think he is testing Kate to see if what Ben said was really true."

What did Ben say? I missed the beginning of the episode...

I think it was in the previous episode, Ben said something to Sawyer about Kate having Jack able to take care of her and comfort her and stuff like that. So Sawyer wants to know if that's really a possibility for his Freckles. :)

I completely missed the fact that Kate initially stands up, thinking that Jack's talking to her, when he was actually talking to Juliet.

Good spot. Hope to see more of your reviews in the future =)
