 In an anodyne and soporific exchange Mr Clegg managed to get through a dozen (yes, folk, count them) questions in the curse of one hour on Twitter. It was supposed to be half an hour, so I reckon we did alright all things considered. I was picking the questions - and I'm sorry if you thought we missed out anything important. It certainly wasn't out of any attempt to avoid issues; we covered public spending cuts, for example, as well as discontent with a lack of political transparency, the BNP, and anti-terror laws, amongst others. I read your behind the scenes article and was assuaged. There are only so many "it is a police state" type questions that the Liberals could answer. Poor MacKinnon though, facing a telephone number for a sentence abroad. I am puzzled by the "3 main parties" line, the Libs were last in power after my Grandfather was demobbed from the trenches.
