The Fay'lia Empire has its sights set on being the only power in the multiverse. They are an ancient and powerful race, skilled in the arts of war and domination. To those who cooperate and allow their home universes to come under their sway, they promise peace and prosperity. To those who don't, they promise you a swift death. That is, if they're feeling merciful.
"You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy."
Those who fight back are scattered, perpetually bickering. Your job is to navigate the web of interdimensional intrigue and persuade the various universes and factions to aid the rebellion. You do this from a teleporting space station made out of junk, inhabited by refugees from all over the multiverse, smugglers, pirates, hippies, mercenaries, bohemians, terrorists and you.
