[ This is typical. Entirely typical. People are swimming around as -- ok not highly attractive, but relatively attractive mer-people and, what is Rodney?

[Mulan-dolphin, meanwhile, has realized that she has no idea where shore is, let alone how to get to the Imperial Capital from... wherever here is. But big cities have rivers running through, them, right? Surely she can get to the Imperial City, which her nerdy Asian Studies major!mun has decided is probably Chang'an from here, once she figures out where here is!]

[ BUMPED. Does the best fish equivalent possible of flailing a little because ok, maybe he doesn't really have this whole fins thing completely down yet, and is about to start raging at you when --

Wait, what do dolphins eat? Is he dolphin food now? Because he really doesn't want to be dolphin food, that really isn't on his top then list of things to do ok. Panic. Panic. Swims out of your way a little and tries to blend in with some coral. If the coral was the same colour as him, this would be working better. ]

[...Well, she's a dolphin, so she's sort of assuming all other sea critters are people, too. Eating could get tricky.]
