My Comic Book Shop Sitcom Idea

► Rewatching the early episodes of Cheers in the season 1 and season 2 sets Dean gave me, along with my fondness for The Big Bang Theory, has me thinking. comic book shop would be a great setting for a sitcom. I've been brainstorming it a little this morning and I think it'd be a good idea. No worse than most sitcoms. I came up with ideas for

You left out the scene segues/cuts, being redrawn versions of classic comic book covers with the main characters in place of the Spectre smacking demon with planet (etc etc)

One of the characters has to be pathologically incapable of discussing anything except in terms of continuity (possibly even his life)

Did you think of a concept title. And a tag line.

"in the ever changing world, there is one place you can go for continuity.. and they always double bag it"

The whole point of that character is that he breaks the stereotype. Besides, Hollywood would demand good looking cast members.
