[A somewhat bored Zevran is prowling the streets of Mayfield, making mental note of landmarks and locations for reference and observing the various goings-on of interesting residents. Should you be out and about and note a blond eyeing you curiously, feel free to approach him! He's quite friendly. Especially if you're a beautiful woman. Sometimes

*He isn't the only one who misses his personal items. The raven haired man walks down the same street the 'elf' is on, his hands twitching uneasily in his pant pockets. Everything he had, was gone. Kaput. That feeling of eruptions and vibrations from explosions running up his spine. Was he ever to feel that again? His hands felt naked enough. For once he felt...

vulnerable.

He closes his amber eyes and sighs deeply, blowing one of his loose strands of hair from tickling his nose before he lifts his head to see the dark skinned man walking down the street. He catches that curious look and he only eyes him back, with a slight accusing look. Obviously they met over the phone, but the bomber had no idea of that.*

[The accusing look interests Zevran, if only because it's something intriguing and inexplicable, and he grins in return, not breaking his stride until he's within speaking distance of the other man. He has to look up at him, as usual; elves are shorter than humans as a rule.] You look angry, my friend. [It won't be hard to figure out who this is, Kimbley, given that he's got a distinctive accent and manner of speaking, plus that phrase~]

*His eyes widen in realization for a brief moment before he slowly smiles kindly. He faces the man.. elf.. whatever he was now and stares back down at him, his smile never faltering.*

Ah, Zevran. Nice to meet you in person this time. Kill anymore dragon-slayers lately?

*obviously that question was just for recognition for the shorter man's use*

[Zevran lifts an eyebrow, then grins as he places Kimbley. Good, now he knows what the man looks like. That is something he wanted to know for...any number of reasons.] You say that as though you believe I make a hobby of it. [The grin becomes a smirk.]

[ Jolt is out in his garden. Because he does that. He is, however, dressed differently than a good chunk of the inhabitants of Mayfield, considering he got a jeans/t-shirt/tennis shoes combo as his latest regain- the jacket is absent since he's digging around in the dirt.

Like he does with any passersby, he gives Zevran a little wave of greeting, and a smile ]

[Since Zevran isn't familiar with the sort of clothing Jolt's wearing from his own world - not to mention it seems out of context here - he detours off the street to move into speaking distance. He's considerate enough not to tramp through the garden~]

You look considerably more comfortable than I am. [He's studying the clothes with interest; whatever they are, Zevran can nonetheless tell just by looking that they're much more suited for ease of movement than what his closet provided for him.]

[ Thank you for that. Jolt does not want to see his flowers trampled ): ]

Huh? Oh, you mean my clothes?

Exactly. I seem to be stuck with these. [Zevran plucks at the collar of his shirt with vague distaste.] I have worn more cumbersome things, I suppose, but generally that was armor, and actually served a useful purpose in exchange.

Are you simply more fortunate than I am, or is there somewhere I can get such things?

[And Shiki chills out on his front lawn in the warm sun because that's just how he rolls.]

[Zevran notes Shiki and offers a casual wave.]

[Is that voice vaguely familiar? Zevran can't quite tell. His Spanish Antivan accent is unmistakable, however!] Greetings, my friend! [Everyone starts out as Zevran's friend. Either they will become so eventually, in which case he's merely getting a head start, or he'll probably wind up killing them, in which case it won't matter. It's a very efficient system!]

[[And Massimo's in his front yard, trying to fix a tree's branches. It seems like it's been put into a hole, considering the stump is sitting nearby. It looks kind of out of place.

He's wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans.

Out of the corner of his eye, Massimo notices. He gives a wave.]]

[This is curious, and Zevran comes a bit closer to get a better look.] May I ask what you're doing?

[[Massimo nervously laughs.]]

I-I kind of accidentally cut down the tree, and I'm setting it back up. It's kind of silly, but I don't have any other option.

[rogue_crow]

[Zevran...eyes Massimo. Dubiously. For several long seconds.]

How does one accidentally cut down a tree?

Hughes is standing in front of the milkman's place with his hands in his pockets and an eyebrow arched, looking quite puzzled. Seriously he wanted to know what the hell was up with this 'milkman' business. Someone people seemed to view him as a sort of monster.]

[Zevran has been wondering about this milk business himself, so he pauses outside to look at the place inquisitively. When he spots the other man standing in front of the building, he wonders for a second if it is, in fact, the Milkman, but decides that wouldn't explain the baffled expression.] I would hope you're not thirsty? [with a slight smile]

[He glances over to the stranger, brightening into a look of humored curiosity. He gestures toward the quiet building as he talks--of course he's carefully made sure no one else was hearing them.]

Actually, I heard some rumors that the milkman is 'dangerous'. I've been trying to collect some information about Mayfield--so far, I've figured out he's tampered with the milk and is apparently killed many of the people here during a prior event.

I had heard something similar, as well. Along with 'don't drink the milk'. [Zevran tilts his head as he regards the building.] I wonder what happens if you do?
