[This is curious, and Zevran comes a bit closer to get a better look.] May I ask what you're doing?

[[Massimo nervously laughs.]]

I-I kind of accidentally cut down the tree, and I'm setting it back up. It's kind of silly, but I don't have any other option.

[Zevran...eyes Massimo. Dubiously. For several long seconds.]

How does one accidentally cut down a tree?

I was practicing with my weapon the town gave back, and I wasn't really paying attention.

And this weapon...fells trees. [Impressed, intimidated, or disbelieving: which does he choose? Let's go for a delicious blend] By accident.

It's because I swung it so hard, b-but it can take down trees.

[[And Massimo goes into the houuuuuse.
And a moment later, comes back out with a large spear.]]

[Zevran's eyebrows go up.] And that cut down a tree?

[steel_massifail]

Y-yeah, I swung it as hard as I could without really meaning to.

Impressive...how did you get your weapon back, if I may ask?

[steel_massifail]

After a lot of our friends got trapped in a nearby town, we managed to get them back somehow. The town returned something to everyone afterwards.

It usually happens like that: something bad happens, we suffer, then we get something from home. It's almost like the town is mocking us.

Or trying to appease you in the aftermath of torture...?

...Y-yeah, or that. But if it were torture, I doubt they'd care about us.
