Italy: if the beach is private/rented (i.e., you pay for sea access) then there are (CWBS). If it's free...usually not.
And I've been told that on pebble-beaches sometimes there aren't, either.

Ooh, right, now that I think about it; I don't think we have any in pebble beaches either. (TBH, I keep forgetting pebble beaches even exist. They're not REAL beaches, you know :-))
