More Hi, Ma-verse fic! Who'd have thunk?

Roughly 500 words, written for deelaundry very belatedly following this conversation about how Nana and Kutner would get along fabulously. Delivered by hand to Dee (\o/! Thanks, bironic) and reproduced here, possibly inaccurately. And so it goes:

There was actually supposed to be a line about the strange new neighbors with the new kid in Anna's nursery - his name's Torren, and they get along great - but in the end I forgot to add it to the original. So, you know, in my mind it's there :-)

Good fic. Okay, I didn't actually get it, but that's okay.
OFF-TOPIC: I saw you mention on someone else's journal that you had brainstormed a House/Discworld crossover in which Vimes et al travel to PPTH... and it sounds AMAZING. I definitely think you should write that, if you are not already doing/have not already done so.
Not to nag, I just think it would blow my mind. Your other House/Discworld crossover about Amber is also terrific, btw.

Well, you probably wouldn't get it if you didn't read the background - it's part of a small fic-verse based on deelaundry's Hi, Mom and my remix of it, Hi, Ma.

Anyway, yes, the other fic! It's about a third or a quarter written, but I've been stuck for over a year now. I really hope to get it back flowing one of these days - it's one of my favorite ideas, and, I mean, it's VIMES and HOUSE in the same building - that should pretty much rock the earth. So I hope the muse returns.
