There's a girl in my linguistics class who licks her fingers. All. The. Time. I don't just mean she licks her thumb & forefinger in order to turn a page, or chew on a nail. But she is just constantly putting her fingers up to her mouth and-- there are no good synonyms for this-- licking them. For no purpose! They must be wet all the time
