long time no update

OK, I already went crazy with this over on arby_m (as usual, this journal sometimes seems like the red-headed stepchild), but it's still interesting to see the difference between that one and this one.

Primary process thinking
Primordial thought - the type of thinking found in fantasy and reverie - described by Freud as the "id". This kind of thought is associative, free-form,and takes little account of reality.
Secondary process thinking
Conceptual thought - abstract, logical, reality oriented, and aimed at problem solving. In Freudian terms, this is the domain of the "ego".
Emotion
The part of thinking that involves feeling and sensibility.

OK so that makes some kind of sense because all my fic is over there and here is where I attempt to be rational. My top 6 sub-categories:

Compared to: EveryoneRandom Movement99.9%Consciousness Alteration97.4%Depth89.4%Restraint88.4%Moral Imperative97.6%Aggression99.4%What does this mean?

Sample words for these:

Random Movement - wave, roll, spread
Consciousness Alteration - dream, sleep, wake
Depth - down, deep, beneath
Restraint - must, stop, bind
Moral Imperative - should, right, virtue
Aggression - angry, harsh, sarcasm

Now this, to me, is very surprising. I would have thought I'd have a much higher score on Consciousness Alteration on arby_m, considering I like to write about dreams, transitional states of awareness etc. Of course, if they count drug language as CA, this one might win out. And yeah, I'm usually pissed off in some way when I write in this journal, but I'm surprised I didn't get a higher score in Sadness because I'm usually also depressed!
