Some (most) of this will probably be links of the 'been there, seen that' variety, but you never know. Right?

I don't mind at all! It's lovely getting an anon comment that's not spam (because the spambots seem to have found a way around the captcha or something dammit. Might as well turn that off it seems, since it's not making much of a difference anyway.)

Oh that's such a shame that you can't make it to the screening and Q&A even though it's near to where you live. And now I'm curious, what kind of place is Nice 'n' Sleazy's?

I love there are so many people to share the Colin love with!

aw damn those spambots they always have to ruin things eh?!

yeah i'm pretty gutted i've been looking at the clock all day today like he'll be there now! haha i swear i'm not a loser!

Nice n Sleazy's is a sort of indie/alternative club/pub in Glasgow. It's pretty awesome, they have live bands and stuff. It's a cool place, there's always fun times to be had there! The name may imply something else but it's really not :D there's nothing 'sleazy' about it ;)

That interview WAS awesome! More personal info in that one than I've read in ages. He obviously really does have fond memories of Glasgow. :-)

I really had a jawdrop moment there, with the amount of personal info he shares in that info! It's like the mention of Glasgow sprung a leak or something and he couldn't help himself...

Hi, I wanted to let you know I ended up buying that mag through the source you linked here. Frankly I didn't expect much of it, but there's so little out there concerning Colin that I thought I'd give it a shot. It just arrived and I love it! Did you get it for yourself too? On the one hand I'm thinking of scanning it, on the other hand the interview is the same as the one online as are all the pics (except for the little pic from OPL), on the other hand I like seeing scans myself and I may not be the only one.

In any case, you've made me a very happy fan :D

Thanks for pointing it out or I would have missed this. Now I wonder if I should have signal boosted it. It's just that my German isn't so good that I could understand if there were more issues available at the time, and right now I don't even get figured out if there still is. This was actually my second time buying anything from ebay and I only had my account made recently because my daughter needed something which I then bought for her.

I see you're a member of colinm_fans. If you ever ( ... )

Yes I did buy the mag too. ;) There is real not much out there, even in London (a short trip one week before christmas) I was frustrated last December and I´m still sad... in December there was nothing we wanted to see in the cinemas oder theatre....
OPL came to late for me :( but I have a tip for everyone who missed the play!
A friend of mine, a big Kenneth Branagh Fan, told me:

The Theatre Museum, near Covent Garden, is recording every Play that takes place in London!!! And you can watch the plays on DVD at the Museum. It is for free!
You can not buy the plays!!! It is sad... but they will have their reasons I guess.

You saw my LJ? LOL Its a sad thing isn´t it? *g*
I came to Merlin because I fancy Bradley James *g* I like... real rough, tough, save-the-world kind of men. :0)

But... I can not help myself, Colin is special!!!

I will try not to be shy about english LJs and tell everyone what I saw on the net. I´m on ebay often... best source for a fangirl (of 32).

Very interesting interview! Don't you think it's very clever from Colin to throw us that bone knowing he no longer lives in Glasgow and so no longer haunts the places he names? :o)
The itw also gives precious insight on how he works on his characters. It's like he stocks informations, feelings and other stuff pertening to the character in some part of his brain and is able to use it at will later. Or maybe not at will, but it colors his interpretation anyway.
