I couldn't watch the eating thing - I guess that was there for small boys to enjoy. So I didn't look and hummed 'the wonderful thing about Tiggers' under my breath instead.

Amy Pond has completely stolen my heart, though, and I love the energy of the Doctor and the whole show was scary and wonderful in a real Doctor-Who sort of way. Excellent family viewing. (I'll be phoning my nephew James to get his opinion later today. ^_^)

Plus, steampunky!tardis makes me very happy. The typewriter!!!

I thought the eating part was funny actually. :D The editing in that scene reminded me a bit of Guy Ritchie's movies.

How cute was young Amelia? :D I was wondering why she looked a bit like her grown-up counterpart, so I googled and what do you know? They're relatives in real life!

I kind of have a crush on this cast (yes, even Rory).

Torn between Doctor/Amy & Rory/Amy.

I'm just easily squicked when food is concerned. Watching someone gag, spitting, weird food combinations, sloppy tablemanners, it just can't watch it.

Oh! I hadn't checked that! But it doesn't surprise me they're really related! I see now that she's Karen's cousin. It's not just the looks, but the way they play Amy gives a really similar feel.

I love this new Doctor and I certainly have a weak spot for Rory. So far Amy is my favorite though :D

It was a great introduction to both characters.

Being The Doctor but also giving him a personal swing is one hell of a challenge. And damn but Amy pulls it off to be sexy, cute and yet make you take her seriously.

Already I want to see Karen and Colin act together at some point; that should give some fireworks! Hot damn...
