I spent this afternoon at gayadi's place, watching Battlestar Galactica, the mini-series together.

All of you who've told me so, can now say 'I told you so!' because yep. I'm hooked.

Well, Callum Keith Rennie is hot like smoking as Leoben, though not so much in the miniseries. I adore Adama and Roslin both. And Kara, and Helo, and Chief, and, oh hell, just about everybody. Watch the whole series!

I loved seeing CKR! But yeah, not much crushing on his character happening here, because he's quite sick in the miniseries. Adama, Roslin, Kara, Helo are all great characters; love them! But it's Chief I'm crushing on.

gayadi lend me the first season. I just watched the miniseries a second time tonight, with my daughter and husband, and they're loving it too, so we're going to watch the rest together :D

CKR sick? Yeah, he pretty much literally looks like he's suffering from a horrendous case of the flu in the miniseries. No, he gets better. Much, much better. *wibble*

I'm not surprised about the Chief at all. He's pretty much awesome. :-)

Oh, Starbuck! She's a smashing character; gotta love her. Oh wait, with the chief, do you mean Commander Adama? I've told a couple of people I'm crushing on chief, but with that I mean Chief Petty Officer Galen Tyrol.

You're right, there are a lot of amazing characters on BSG. So many people I care about. Which I think is one of the major strength of the series. I'm looking forward to watching more!

Personally, I crush on Laura.

Oh you too! I knew of a couple of people they were into BSG, but I didn't know about you.

Laura is definitely a great character, and I love her lots, but I just don't swing that way enough to crush on her. She's the kind of person you'd want to be president; someone who combines being practical with compassion. Someone who dares to take charge, but also knows how to delegate. Someone who gets the best out of everyone.

She reminds me of Daniel Jackson in many ways.
