Whee! So many vids to watch!!! *glomps* Good idea to have streaming versions as well as downloadable -- I should edit my post to do that.

I kept tweaking this entry, until I was fed up with it, and just posted. I kind of want to make a fic rec entry like this one, because I like using pages like that by others too, and to use as an archive for myself. You know, a page to update regularly, so I wouldn't have to spam my flist with recs. It's just that I don't know where to begin! It's probably just a matter of doing it... *frets*

There are advantages and disadvantages. If I had a website where I kept all my recs on one page, I'd probably just do updates in my journal. But I like having them all in one place, so the jouranl pages are it. The disadvantage is that anyone else who reads my recs has to keep going back to my old posts to see what's been added with an asterisk.

(And I'll be updating my vid page soon! Am adding some silly vids, too.)

I wish you were into "House." There are a lot of videos out there and I don't have time to dig through the crap to find the gems.

And astolat has a House video on her site, and since the vids I've seen of her are all worthwhile, I bet that one is too.

Do I have any fandoms up there that you are or were into? Well, beside lotr(ips) that is, because I asume I don't have anything new up there.

Alas, no, I'm sadly fandomless right now. It's really hard for me to watch weekly t.v.; I just don't seem to have what it takes, so I end up waiting a year for the season to come out on DVD, then I gorge myself on it and then I have to wait another year for the next installment. At least that's what I did/am doing with House.

Reading the fic sure makes a difference. And I must say, the video also makes me look at the fic differently, because it emphasizes the good part of nostalgia and how memories keep people alive in our hearts. At least, that's how I (want to) see it.

"White City" is phenomenal! :D And ooooooh "I don't care"... not only did I fall in love with the video the first time I saw it, but also with the song... so much so that I ended up hunting down a used single of "Affirmation", which was the only way to get hold of it on CD! :D

I just checked and I contacted Uluviel about that clip July 2002 and she provided me with the mp3 (and complete) version of the song back then, because I couldn't find it anywhere. Oh man, that's so many years ago...

I don't care is still my ultimate Elijah/Dom song!

There is so much out there, it's amazing! A pity quite a bit of lotr stuff isn't available anymore.
