I went from thinking about True Blood to thinking about Australia...via the thought of vampires in Australia (East West 101 - Jung Lim isn't amused), nor is Callas)...

...and from that adventure, I remembered a tv series I used to watch: Red Planet, the miniseries. not sure if it'd be called a cartoon or an anime these days.

Is it just me, or do Honeysuckle Weeks (Samantha Stewart on Foyle's War) and Karen Gillan (Amy Pond on Doctor Who) sound an awfully lot alike?

okay, minus Pond's (faint) Scottish accent.

I ask because I tried to imagine them having a conversation...and was struck by how alike they sounded.
