One other bizarre thing that makes no sense to me about the hate crime storyline is that the organization of wesen who are against different types of wesen being together are... different types of wesen.
given all the sh* Adalind's going through presently, she might not notice...or might think its a dream of some bizarre sort (thank you time difference)

Interesting episode - christmas fun and an arc of nasty wesen. I wish Trubel weren't going across the continent --- Nick may need the aid of another Grimm (though I suspect Mama Grimm may cross paths with Nick shortly).
maybe the writers think Mama Grimm's verypowerful enough, given that Nick'll also have Team Grimm at hand to fight whatever Wesen/Royals/others come up?
