I knew that Nick being captured was the point after Renard's spy told him about the blank passports and death certificates. And I think you're right about the sideways attack being the only one that would work plus it had to be big enough of a distraction to seperate Nick from his team .

I don't think the Royals give a damn about any damage they cause with the zombies.

And considering the symptoms of what happens to someone who is dosed , when they find Nick to rescue him it's going to be incredibly dangerous to give him the antidote. I'm thinking this would be a good time for Mama Grimm to help them.

The ending played out pretty much exactly like I thought it would, but it was still agonizing -- especially knowing that Nick was fully aware, hurting, and terrified as it happened.

I didn't see anything vengeful in Juliette's vigor (yet). I think it's a combination of having the weight of everything that's happened to her lifted and the lights turned on, and her own demonstrated natural curiosity. Plus, it's something she can share with Nick now, so it makes perfect sense to me she'd throw herself into it.

I know it would, on the one hand, suck big time, but I'm kind of hoping we get a Monroe-versus-Nick, "I don't want to hurt you but I will to save you" throwdown scene. This plot is the perfect opportunity for it.

I just really want them to save Nick before the torture commences, which y'know is what has to be the agenda.

I liked this episode. I'm on the edge of my seat wondering what's going to happen to Nick. We know that he can be dezombified e.g. the tow truck guy. I wonder how they'll do it? I think that Adalind, if she finds out, will be very happy to see Nick as a zombie. Eric will torture Nick. Eric is a total psychopath. Will they keep Nick as a zombie or will they use it as leverage to get the key? Does zombification affect Grimms differently?

I'd love to see Nick and Juliet's wedding in season 3!

> We know that he can be dezombified e.g. the tow truck guy.
*nods* and the serum can't be given for the first three stages...but is there a "its too late" point in Stage Four, or does it not matter when Nick gets it?

>Eric is a total psychopath.
based on provided evidence, yes.

but given that Grimms, as shown, are superweapons - and Nick is a SuperGrimm - wouldn't it be even more (evil? effective?) if they got Nick to work for Eric?

(whether a semi-cure from the zombification makes him ultra-loyal, or Nick's convinced that the Cracher-Mortel was working with Renard, or some other way)

>Does zombification affect Grimms differently?
that would be interesting. I mean, zombification affected wesen and humans the same way (that i could see), so if it affects/effects Grimms differently... (might the cure for Grimms be different than for humans?)

hm.

I truly hope that this cliffhanger isn't leading us to a situation where Nick is brainwashed and in Eric's employ. One crappy amnesia story was already one more than I cared to see on this show; I don't want yet another season of misery and memory loss with Nick standing in for Juliette this time.

I tend to think Eric's plan is to get Nick, revive him, and torture him into giving up the key. That's already been established as his M.O., and there was the mini-history lesson from Renard to Nick on the Royals torturing one of Nick's ancestors for his/her key. That just struck me as potential foreshadowing, particularly given how personally Nick seemed to take it. I think it;s just a question of how far the plan progresses before it's ended and Nick is rescued. Will they actually get him out of the country and do him any further harm, or is that plane going to be prevented from ever leaving the ground, and the crisis point will deal with an enthralled and violent Grimm?

And may I add hell yes to the wedding vote. :)

speaking of standing in, if s2 could be called The Season Of Renard (most plots involving him to one degree or another)...then I suspect that s3 will be The Season Of Rosalee.

Nick doesn't have to be brainwashed to be in Eric's employ, neccessarily...
a. Nick knows that Renard has been behind a lot of the plots involving Nick (particularly in season 1)
b. Eric can plausibly claim to have not been behind the attacks on Nick (and could tell Nick "those were hits by rival Families")

>and the crisis point will deal with an enthralled and violent Grimm?
that would be quite interesting, how they handle it, particularly given Nick's proven lethality when he wants someone dead.
though I'm sorry - how is enthrallment different from amnesia? (in terms of how people relate to him, at least)

EDIT: ah, partial amnesia/partial enthrallment - that could work.

>And may I add hell yes to the wedding vote. :)
yes please.
