12. Annie/Simon Covert Affairs

The howl of the baby woke them up. "I swear I am going to kill that man," Annie muttered as she slid out of bed. Unsurprisingly, she noticed Simon was already out of bed.

"Killing's too quick," Simon said as he headed for the crib. Do it slowly, and its torture, not killing, which moots your statement. "Hello," he said, putting on his silliest face for the baby; that usually worked with infants, "how are you?"

The baby had been handed to Annie by a woman Annie had seen Eyal conferring with in Israel - at the time, Annie had assumed the woman was Mossad like he was. Did Eyal fail to make a meeting, and she had to find someone else to give the baby too? Annie wondered. No, there's a lot of reasons why that theory doesn't make sense. Okay, since someone already requested what is obviously my FAVORITE THING (#12), I will pick...:

#2, bodyswap: Leverage, Hardison/Parker (hopefully with bonus Eliot!)

The first thing Nate saw when he opened the door of Leverage HQ, was Eliot jumping off the sofa and onto Hardison's back, ex-army arms wrapping around Hardison's throat. That wasn't what surprised Nate. The surprise was hearing Eliot squeeee-ing or squealing a very loud "WHEEEE!!" in mid-jump.

"Hey Nate," Parker said, walking by the boys without a sideways glance. "You have fun at Sterling's daughter's birthday party?"

Absolutely positive there was something hinky with Parker's voice, Nate said, "It was fine. Almost nothing happened. How about here?"

Eliot stood up, arms still around Hardison, who had a little trouble breathing as they were getting up. "Why? Who squealed?" Eliot asked.

"Dammit," Parker said, and Nate was certain she had started a "p" sound after that word.
