I loved this version of Spiderman. And I adored all the cranes lining up down the avenue, corny as it was. And wow, was that guy flexible!
Also, while I hated the first Spiderman series because of the 'romance', this one was great. The chick had a brain, and a spine, and was all snarky. :D

I wondered who he was talking to, as well. And what was the deal with dad?
