Catherine Rollins/Kimball Cho
He doesn't ask anything of her, doesn't have her do things of questionable legality; she likes his calm* and patience. They're clever enough for one another (there's a rumor that she got the upper hand on Jane once - but when asked about it, Catherine and Cho just smile). With Catherine, Cho can be himself, not having to concern himself about if he just mentioned half his childhood or gang past - and with Cho, Catherine doesn't have to worry about being left behind/high and dry or getting put aside.
And neither of them press the other for information...though Kono thinks its not natural that they don't always say "how are you?"...they read each other, and that's sufficient most times.
* = actually they're each a port of calm for one another, but they do more than just sit on the couch and relax.
I apologize if I ranted/rambled a bit there.

first he has to graduate, but after that, yes.
No matter how bad their respective days at work go, they'll think the other in their relationship has a nice, relaxing job - both of them have occupations that the wider world can't know the details of its workings.
They'll trust one another enough to tell each other the truth about what they do - that she's MI-5 and that he's a wizard who built a Tesla system once, and maybe again - though its an open question as to how much they actually believe.

Both can attest to the sense of unreality that can, from time to time, wash over a person. They regard one another as anchors, points they can cling to when they would not otherwise be sure or certain what is real, what is in one's head, and what is something else entirely. That and the sex is good.
The anomalies all opened one day to the 1960s and 1970s, and would never close. Lady Emily took one look at their outfits and said "And you lot think my clothes are strange?"
