another 'Red Dawn' movie...where are all the "Canada Invades!" films?

From what I've heard, it's official: there is going to be a re-make of Red Dawn, that Cold War movie that pitted Russian paratroopers against American highschoolers.

Canada tried to invade, but they brought Tim Hortons snacks and everyone surrendered because they were yummy!

I think they probably picked China because of political ideology (Americans freak out at the idea of not having freedom of speech/association) and enough of an army, in terms of sheer numbers, to be scary.

They could have been original and created a fake country or a bloc as an enemy.

One speculation I heard, was that in 20 years from now, the next Red Dawn remake will have the British as the bad guys.
