I meant as a sequel, but clarification would work to (I get the feeling this is set in a 'verse I've managed to miss).

Nah, don't worry about it. I don't keep up with the Denial multiverses (point of fact, if the fandom OCs outnumber the canon OCs in the character list, I skip the story).

If it works in your 'verse, then leave it be.
