Actually, I think NCIS: LA is taking a page from Numb3rs' book. That is, cut down on expenses by removing a regular character from the roster for a while. Larry was sent off to the desert, Dom is MIA.
I figure if they were going to kill him, they would have done that by now. I'm expecting a big rescue for the February sweeps.
