Ah. Well, I had to ask because *that* Nathan Hale is in my family tree. *grin* Which is probably why I do know who he is. ;-) He was my many-times-great (I've long ago lost count of just how many greats) grandmother's brother. :-)

Ah well. Would've been fun to be related to a fictional villain. ;-)
