I don't think I see it - was it Sam or Michael that hit on Carla at the bar? I guess that wouldn't really make that much of a difference, since Sam has seen pictures of her and hasn't said anything. I think he would, though maybe not. I also think Carla isn't old enough; Sam said they got married in the 70s and her character (and actress, though again, this doesn't really matter in tv-world) isn't really old enough for that.
Anyway, it's still something interesting that I'm going to keep on the back burner. :)
