IDEAS: Cell Phone Service, James Bond Number

No offense to Nextel, but even though they gave Davis $175/month charge, their phone cuts out so often while I'm talking to Davis. Davis was bitching about Verizon, but at least Verizon had clear reception. Davis just didn't help pay on time.

As I said, Davis was the one who used the phone the most. He had a point when he said that he could do this alone and that my contributions are minimal. However, if that's the case, how come in two yeears he couldn't even pay for one lousy phone bill? That's why his argument doesn't hold water. Now the phone is about to be disconnected and go into collections.

Okay, so I don't have to pay for the service, but it's crappy because always cuts out on us. At least with Verizon, you had C/Le-AR reception.

For the record, I'd like to state that I, in no way, blame Verizon. Verizon has been good to me and patient. They were more than patient. Their operators made some mistakes back in January 2004 with doubling my service where I had twice the minutes and no cell phone, but they gave me a credit on that.

I know it sounds kind of petty, but I really like my phone number they gave me and don't want to lose it. It seems like a trivial thing, but I liked the fact that it was a James Bond Number. I know it sounds stupid, but I liked the novelty of it. Numbers come and numbers go. I know. However, I just wish I didn't have to lose my number because of other people's screw-ups.

I really don't ask for a lot on a personal level. Most of the things I've asked for over the last two years were related to someone else and never really for myself. That's why I'm so exhausted and tired.

What they should do with Cell Phone Numbers for Celebrities is make them like Hollywood Walk of Fame Numbers where after the Celebrity dies, their recorded voice is on a Voice Mail. Then people can call those phone numbers just to hear that person's voice. Maybe they could make it where people who call the number donate to a charity or something like a 1-900 number
